Principal's Message
Clearwater Adult Education Center is one of five Adult Education Centers that
service Pinellas County residents. We provide educational services for over
5,000 students per year. We offer ABE/GED classes for those students aged 16
and up, to prepare to take the Official State of Florida General Education
Diploma (GED). We also have classes for those students who are foreign
language speakers and want to learn or improve their English. We have
regular high school credit classes that allow adults to complete the
requirements for a regular high school diploma or provide co-enrolled classes
for students still in high school who need to replace a missed credit.
At Clearwater Adult Education Center, we also try to meet the needs of the
community by offering community courses such as First Aid, CPR, Child Care
certifications, and Citizenship class for those wanting to prepare to become
US citizens.
We provide a family atmosphere where no matter if you are 16 or 90 years old,
you are welcome. Our staff of professional educators are dedicated to
meeting the needs of the students and to provide the best learning
environment for each learner.
We are here to provide educational services to the community, if you don't
see what you need, please give us a call (727) 469-4190 or email me directly
at richardsch@pcsb.org and we will do what we can to help!!
